Victor Madge began his career in architecture after graduating from the University of Cincinnati, one of the highest ranked architectural design schools in the country. The work-study program allowed him the opportunity to work in Boston, LA, San Francisco, and the US Virgin Islands. Later in his career, Madge worked for Adache Associates, a firm specializing in international resort design. There, he helped design luxury resort developments in Jamaica, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, St. Lucia, Martinique, St. Kitts and as far south as Ecuador.

In 1998, Madge and his family moved to the quaint hamlet of Silverton, Oregon in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, where he and his wife started an architecture and engineering firm. A chance meeting in 2006 with entrepreneur Doug DeGeorge started a collaboration to transform this small 1960's Silverton motor hotel into the Silverton Inn & Suites; a thriving, Old-World European boutique hotel, including the elegant Lisa's Restaurant & Lounge.
"We have recommended the Inn and have received exemplary comments from our visitors. They remark on the spacious rooms and great close-in to Silverton's historic downtown location. We have heard rave reviews of Lisa's restaurant and lounge, as well."
